
RTSH, the Albanian national broadcaster, have announced the song submission window for Festivali i Këngës 65 – their national selection for the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest.
The song submission window for Festivali i Këngës 65 will open on Tuesday 22nd September and will remain open until Sunday 27th September. Song submissions can be made through the RTSH website – the rules for song submissions are:
- The song must be sung in Albanian.
- It must not be longer than 4 minutes.
- Songs must not have been previously published in any form.
- The song must be an original creation of the authors, and not created with AI (Artificial Intelligence).
- The performing artist (singer), as well as the authors of the song (composers, songwriters, orchestrators) must be Albanian.
- Performing artists (singers) must be over 17 years of age.
- Singers may only participate with one song.
- Composers may participate with no more than one musical composition (song), including as co-composers.
- Songwriters may participate with no more than two songs, including as co-songwriters.
- Orchestrators may participate with no more than two orchestrations, including as co-orchestrators.
RTSH, the Albanian national broadcaster, had the following to say:
“All artists from Albania, Kosovo and the Albanian diaspora are invited to participate, with their creations and interpretations that will reflect the latest developments in Albanian pop music.”
