ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster, have revealed the first details of an internal selection, for the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest.

ORF have revealed that Peter Schreiber and Cesár Sampson will be heading the search for the 2027 Austrian Eurovision Song Contest representative. The 2027 Austrian Eurovision Song Contest representative is expected to be announced in late 2026 or early 2027. Peter Schreiber had the following to say:

“If anyone is interested in participating in ESC 2027 for Austria: send me a message – and please read the rules for the songs on eurovision.com (if there are still questions open, you can ask me of course). Austrian artists preferred, general applications will be possible too, official announcement by ORF will follow later.”
