For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from Luleå.

2003 – Heat Three

The third heat of 2003 took place at the Arcushallen, in Luleå. Sarek took first place (58,138 votes), with “Genom eld och vatten”, while Barbados took second place (38,144 votes), with “Bye, Bye”.

2011 – Heat One

The first heat of 2011 took place at the Coop Norrbotten Arena, in Luleå. Danny Saucedo took first place (60 872 votes) and qualified after the first round of voting, with “In the Club”, while Swingfly took second place (42 104 votes) after the second round of voting, with “Me and My Drum”.
