For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from Gothenburg.

2023 – Heat One

The first heat of 2023 took place at the Scandinavium, in Gothenburg. Jon Henrik Fjällgren, Arc North feat. Adam Woods took first place (1,352,492 votes) and qualified after the first round of voting, with “Where You Are (Sávežan)”, while Tone Sekelius took second place (94 points) after the second round of voting, with “Rhythm of My Show”.

2024 – Heat Two

The second heat of 2024 took place at the Scandinavium, in Gothenburg. Liamoo took first place (1,677,964 votes) and qualified after the first round of voting, with “Dragon”, while Maria Sur took second place (94 points) after the second round of voting, with “When I’m Gone”.
