Rai, the Italian national broadcaster, have a specific night during Sanremo 2027, which their representative for the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest, will be chosen.

FOLLOWING rumours at the start of last month that the Italian representative will be chosen during a specific night of Sanremo 2027, the Artistic Director of Festival di Sanremo 2027, Stefano De Martino, has confirmed that this will take place on the fourth night of the Festival.

The format of Festival di Sanremo 2027, will look like this:

• Nights One (Tuesday) & Two (Wednesday) – All acts will perform across the two nights.
• Night Three (Thursday) – Covers Night (moved from the Friday).
• Night Four (Friday) – Eurovision Selection Night.
• Night Five (Saturday) – Sanremo 2027 Final.
