BHRT, the Bosnian national broadcaster, has confirmed their continued non-participation, at the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest.
BHRT have confirmed the news due to financial reasons and ongoing sanctions by the European Broadcasting Union, which has been in place since December 2016, due to unpaid debts. The financial situation is due to RTRS retaining the television licence fee that they should have returned to BHRT.
