
RTSH, the Albanian national broadcaster, have confirmed a change in national selection for the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Ta’ Qali.
Following on from the ANNOUNCEMENT that Festivali i Fëmijë will be used once again to choose the Albanian representative, RTSH have now revealed that Junior Fest will be returning as the national selection this year. While further details of Junior Fest have yet to be revealed, RTSH had the following to say:
“Junior Fest returns this year as an artistic journey full of energy, dreams and music, for all children and teenagers who want to express their talent on the biggest music stage for young people.
We invite all young artists, singers, performers and creators to become part of this special journey, which not only promotes talent and creativity, but also opens the doors to the greatest European experience for children and teenagers, that of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Junior Fest is not just a festival. It is emotion, passion, friendship, spectacle, experience and a unique opportunity to represent Albania in the international arena.”
