RTS, the Serbian national broadcaster, have confirmed that they will not be participating at the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid.

Serbia have participated at the Contest fourteen times, however they have not participated since 2022. RTS had revealed a return was UNLIKELY to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year. Olivera Kovacevic, from RTS, has stated that financial reasons are the reason for this second year of absence.
