Last night, Iceland kicked off its search to find its entry for the 2023 Eurovision Song contest, taking place in Liverpool ,in May .Five acts competed for the coveted two places in the Grand Final on 4th March , the lucky two acts are :

Diljá– “Lifandi inni í mér”

Bragi -“Stundum snýst heimurinn gegn þér.”

The acts were chosen via a 100 % public vote. Semi Final 2 will take place on 24th February and there could still be wildcard awarded by the Icelandic broadcaster to one of the non-qualified acts .
