#BIRTHDAY: Vanja Radovanović from Montenegro is 40 today

Many countries have never won the big prize in our favourite TV show. Some seem to have difficulties getting through semi-finals, even though they try – really try.

Montenegro is a beautiful pocket-sized country. It produces some very scenic music videos, and if you like your Adriatic ballads, it’s rife with them. But still they haven’t quite found a successful formula. One such ballad came from today’s birthday boy Вања Радовановић/Vanja Radovanović. His pleasant little song scored well from southern Europe, so a Mediterranean Song Contest would have seen him do well. So maybe RTCG need to go for the appeal of northern Europe too.
