
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we start Belgium’s story.
Belgium debuted at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Copenhagen, Denmark. X!NK participated with “De vriendschapsband”, finishing in 6th place and 83 points.
Free Spirits represented Belgium at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Lillehammer, Norway. They participated with “Accroche-toi”, finishing in 10th place and 37 points.
Lindsay represented Belgium at the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Hasselt, Belgium. She participated with “Mes rêves”, finishing in 10th place and 63 points.
Thor! represented Belgium at the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Bucharest, Romania. He participated with “Een tocht door het donker”, finishing in 7th place and 71 points.
Trust represented Belgium at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. They participated with “Anders”, finishing in 15th place and 19 points.
