#EURO2020: Eurovision Jukebox – Match Day 3

The UEFA 2020 European Championships are here after a postponement of one year – more commonly known as Euro 2020. Each day, we will upload tracks into our Jukebox articles, to accompany the matches played on that day. Today sees three matches – England vs. Croatia, Austria vs. North Macedonia and The Netherlands vs. Ukraine.

England (UK) – “Embers”

James Newman represented the United Kingdom at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. James sang “Embers” and finished in 26th and last place, with a total of 0 points.

Croatia – “Marija Magdalena”

Doris Dragović represented Croatia at the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest in Jerusalem, Israel. Doris sang “Marija Magdalena” and finished in 4th place, with a total of 118 points.

Austria – “Rise Like a Phoenix”

Conchita Wurst represented Austria at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark. Conchita sang “Rise Like a Phoenix” and finished in 1st place, with a total of 290 points.

North Macedonia – “Proud”

Tamara Todevska represented North Macedonia at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Israel. Tamara sang “Proud” and finished in 7th place, with a total of 305 points.

The Netherlands – “Arcade”

Duncan Laurence represented The Netherlands at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Israel. Duncan sang “Arcade” and finished in 1st place, with a total of 498 points.

Ukraine – “1944”

Jamala represented Ukraine at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden. Jamala sang “1944” and finished in 1st place, with a total of 534 points.
