#BIRTHDAY: Jedward from Ireland are 29 today

Do you think we’re short-changing you, with only one birthday per day. Well it wouldn’t be right if we were to dilute the attention we give to a birthday boy or girl. Unless it’s twins.

And if you want twins, you’ve got them. Not just any old twins, but twins who have done there stuff twice for their country. In consecutive years! Yes, it’s the birthday boys John and Edward Grimes, also known as Jedward. They’ve given seven-time champions Ireland their best result since those pesky semi-finals started. Anyway, today’s pick f Jedward’s two appearance is their better one, finishing eighth in both their semi-final, and the Grand Final in Düsseldorf. The three maxima they got contributed to Ireland’s best score since they were runners-up in 1997. Love them or hate them, they definitely put on a show.
