
While thirteen countries have confirmed participation in Warsaw, three participating countries from last year – Albania, Armenia and Italy have yet to declare any participation news.
Today, we can announce that Austria and Finland will not be making their debut in Warsaw this year. While no reason has been given, Austria don’t intend to debut in the future neither.
Finland have also declared a non-participation this year. Last year, YLE’s Creative Director, Ville Vilen, stated that they had a principle of not putting children into an adult contest.
