#GERMANY: Additional #ESC20 Programming Announced

NDR have announced two additional shows to air alongside Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light – which will be shown on a one hour delay.

“World Wide Wohnzimmer – das ESC Halbfinale 2020” will air on Wednesday 6th May. “World Wide Wohnzimmer” hosts – Dennis and Benni will present the show, with the help of German commentator Peter Urban. The show will present all 41 entries. Viewers will be asked to vote for their favourite, along with the 100 member-jury that selected this year’s German entry. The ten entries with the highest scoring points, will proceed to the Final.

“Eurovision Song Contest 2020 – das Deutsche Finale live aus der Elbphilharmonie” will air on Saturday 16th May. Barbara Schöneberger will host the proceedings as the German public will decide who’ll win. Michael Schulte will join Peter Urban in the commentary booth. Some of the ten finalists will be preforming live. Ben Dolic will also reveal how his 2020 entry would’ve been staged. The show will come live from Hamburg Elbphilharmonie.

Following the delayed broadcast of Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light, there will be a rerun of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, when Germany last took victory.
