IRELAND: Late Late Show news
If you’re a history buff, you’ll know that the only person to sing two winning songs at the Eurovision Song Contest is Johnny Logan. And he’s on the Late Late Show on Friday 31 January.
It’s 40 years since Johnny’s first victory, which was curiously enough in the Netherlands. So, 40 years on, can history repeat itself? Here’s his winning performance in The Hague.
In 1987, the Eurovision circus was in Brussels and Johnny, again dressed in white, beat the biggest field ever at the time. With one of the highest ever scores of the pre-semi-final era.
The Late Late Show is on RTÉ One from 21.35 Local Time (22.35 CET).
