And what’s Eurovision without a little scandal? Well, Constantin Cobîlean was also meant to appear on this list with his song “Mama”. However, after the jury delivered their verdict on Saturday it was revealed that Cobîlean’s song had already been performed in Russian on the TV show Glavnaya Stsena in 2015. As this is against the EBU’s rules for Eurovision, he was promptly disqualified and Nadia Moșneagu was brought back to replace him. You can still hear his song here:

Out of these 14 songs, 8 will progress to the final on February 25th. The winner of this show will then represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.

What do you think? Who is your favourite semi finalist? Is there anyone here who can bring Moldova back to the final?

Let us know what you think!
