For those of you who are fans of Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest, their debut entrant has a new single out. Guy Sebastian gave the 2015 ESC the kick it needed with his uptempo feelgood song ‘Tonight again’ in Vienna. He finished fifth.
His new single ‘Set in stone’ is now available for pre-order. It’s been co-written by Sebastian, along with Stuart Crichton and Taylor Parks. They’ve also written for Usher, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, so there’s the pedigree there.
In Europe, Guy first came to prominence in World Idol, shown over Christmas and New Year in 2003-04. His cover of the Louis Armstrong song ‘What a wonderful world’ saw him finish seventh, but we knew he had potential.
Since then he’s released eight albums and 30 singles in Australia, with several Number Ones to his credit. Will ‘Set in stone’ be his next?
You can order it from Guy’s website HERE.
As a reminder, here is the official video of his song from Vienna. It only made Number 12 in Australia, but deserved much better.
