Last night saw the inaugural EuroStarz concert take place in London and Eurovision Ireland were there front and centre to catch all the action. And we have one word to sum it all up – WOW! Last night’s concert was a resounding success!

Hosted by the incomparable Nicki French, EuroStarz gave us a whirlwind Eurovision tour around Europe, featuring sets from Valentina Monetta, Alex Larke, Karl W. Lund, Martin Fitch and surprise special guest, Eurovision winner Emmelie de Forest! As well as singing their own impressive back catalogues, the acts also closed the show with a joint medley of Eurovision hits – Valentina Monetta nailed “Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu” and Karl Lund’s rendition of Poli Genova’s “If Love Was A Crime” really got the crowd going!

Of course, a huge part of any Eurovision event is the fans, and they were in their element! Event goer Mike Hopper told Eurovision Ireland “It was a great night! It was a really intimate venue and I truly hope that there is another one in future!”

So do we! We’d like to say a huge thank you to the EuroStarz team, particularly to Caroline, Michael and Tania for all their hard work and of course for having Eurovision Ireland there – we really can’t wait for the next show!
