Who won the Marcel Besançon Award 2016 at Eurovision? Results Announced
Every year the Marcel Bezençon Awards were awarded at the Eurovision Song Contest. As usual there were 3 awards the Press Award, an Artistic Award and the Composer Award.
The Artistic Award (voted for by the commentators at the contest) was won by Jamala from Ukraine for her song ‘1944’.
The Composer Award for composition (voted for by the composers of the entries in the 2014 contest) went to Australia and the composing duo called DNA that was composed by Dami In – ‘The Sound of Silence’.
The Press Award (voted for by the International Press) was won by Russia and is song ‘You’re The Only One’.
So it looks like the winner of the awards were reflected in the overall results at tonight’s contest,
