Italian Style At It’s Best

Last night the first round of the prestigious Sanremo Music Festival 2016 took place. The winner of the Campioni category will have the right to go to Eurovision 2016. If they decline the opportunity then the Italian delegation will look to the other contestants in the category.

The results from tonight show the acts in 2 sections. The bottom 4 are the acts with the lowest current scores (though not shown in any particular order)

Over the coming nights the scores from the televote, audience vote and jury vote will determine what acts will be eliminated. Still some way to go!

Tonight was the first show. The schedule for the remained of the festival is as follows :

Semi-Final 2 – February 10th

Semi-Final 3 – Feburuary 11th

Semi-Final 4 – February 12th

Grand Final – February 13th
