Quick Observations

Destiny from Malta won both the public and jury vote and was followed by Armenia closely on both sets of marks. It was clear that both countries were in favor with both voting groups.

Countries that scored better in the public vote were Bulgaria, San Marino and Ireland. The Juries had placed the countries in 16th, 15th and 14th places respectively yet the Public vote placed the countries higher – Bulgaria 5th, San Marino 9th and Ireland 10th.

Countries that scored better in the Jury Vote were The Netherlands and Italy. Both countries came 9th and 10th respectively with the Juries yet the public vote saw The Netherlands in 17th and Italy in 16th place.

Media that say that diaspora voting favors neighboring countries will be interested to see countries like Ireland and San Marino scored in the Top 10 with the public.

We can all agree that Malta was the winner with both the public and the juries – Well done Destiny
