Malta, Ireland and Macedonia sharing some good times at Junior Eurovision
What does a Police car, ‘Uptown Funk’ and climbing trees have in common? Well it can only be one thing – It’s the luck of the Irish!
Today was Day 1 of Ireland’s first ever Junior Eurovision entrant at the contest and Aimee Banks had a busy day plus some fun along the way here in Sofia. Unlucky for Aimee but lucky for you, we had our cameras rolling!
It was a busy and fun day with a police escorted trip to Bulgarian National Radio where Aimee recorded her parts of the official Junior Eurovision Theme Song ‘Discover’. We got to video her session as you can see above – check it out.
Joining Aimee were her new friends from Italy and Montenegro. After that we found some time to bring you a message from up a tree. I bet you wouldn’t get Dana doing that!
Aimee last night had some fun with the delegations from Malta and Macedonia where they gave the hotel an impromptu performance of ‘Uptown Funk’ – make sure to stop by for that video tomorrow!
Rehearsals begin tomorrow and Eurovision Ireland will be blogging live from the Press Centre and we will be back stage too with exclusive footage. So make sure to follow us HERE, on Facebook, on Twitter, on Snap Chat, on Instagram and Periscope! Just search for us at Eurovision Ireland
