UK : Listen to the Official Remix of Electro Velvet’s ‘Still in Love With You’ – Tragedy or Genius?

The UK’s entry for Eurovision 2015 – Electro Velvet – is the act that just keeps on giving!

The British media seemed confused (am being polite) with their selection for Eurovision in Vienna. However with the song being one of the most watched songs of this year’s contest on YouTube, there is something that keeps bringing people back to the song.

Now you can have the enjoyment or terror – depending which way you swing 😉  – all over again as the official remix of ‘Still in Love With You’ is released. It is called ‘The Lone Sharx Remix’. Well that gets 12 points for a play on words and no doubt we will hear it played in the Queen Vic on ‘Eastenders’.

The BBC are going for the ‘let’s stand out’ in Vienna approach and the remix delivers even more cheese than deep-fried Brie wrapped in Mozzarella dipped in a fondue pot. But hey – WE LOVE CHEESE – and if you are going for that in the contest then it’s best that you go for it 100% and not skimp on the Edam.

I know I will be ‘shaking what my mama gave me’ to this at Euroclub in Vienna. The BBC is determined to go for the cliché at Eurovision and if you can’t beat it then join it. We’ve already booked our tickets on the Electro Velvet train.

So is the remix a stroke of genius or a tragedy just waiting to happen? Where do you think the UK will finish up this year on the Eurovision scoreboard? Is it your secret guilty pleasure?

You can download the Official Remix HERE and you can vote for the UK in our On-Line Poll for ‘Your Favourite Song from the Big 7’ HERE
