ITALY : Il Volo drop a full verse of ‘Grande Amore’ to make the 3 minute Eurovision regulations

‘Rules are there to be broken’ – well not at Eurovision!

All songs must be no longer than 3 minutes in length. Our handsome trio of Il Volo’s song ‘Grande Amore’ that won the Sanremo Festival was almost 4 minutes in length. So they have edited the song to be within the 3 minute allowed timeframe.

So where did they drop 43 seconds?

Well it appears that they have edited out the second verse of the song completely. If you look at the official lyrics of the song just posted you will see that – SEE HERE

How will that sound now? We will have to wait and see. ‘Grande Amore’ is currently the most watched video of Eurovision 2015 so far. Fans are very familiar with the song in its current form. Will the edited version make a difference to how the song sounds now without a full verse?

We will wait and see or hear as the case will be.

What do you think?
