Last year Lithuania had possibly the longest and at times most confusing song selections for Eurovision but hey we love the drama of it all!
So what do they have in store for us in 2015?
They are doing it all again in 2015. There will be weekly live shows where they search for the country’s singer to perform at Eurovision and then a separate search for the song that the singer will perform in Vienna.
It is scheduled for 8 shows – but so was last year but it was extended due to the popularity of the show locally.
Singers – You must be a Lithuanian citizen and you should apply now directly to LRT (Lithuanian National Broadcaster).
Composers – As like last year songs will be accepted from composers internationally. The details of how to submit songs will be announced later.
Last year the public both the national and international public could vote for the song selection on-line. We will see if this is the case again in 2015.
The live shows are scheduled to commence in January 2015. Remember it’s a Marathon and not a Sprint in Lithuania.
