Things are progressing nicely in the The Netherlands, as they came a little closer to picking the entrant for Junior Eurovision.
On Saturday night, four more acts battled it out to win a place in the final and be in with the chance to represent The Netherlands at the Junior Eurovision song contest in Malta this November.
All four acts performed amazingly, but it was Julia, with her song ‘Around’ who topped the results last night with 36 points. In second place and qualifying for the final also, was Sebastiaan with 28 points and his song ‘2gether we are one’.
With the four finalists chosen, the fifth act which was decided upon by the public. The Dutch public had less than 24 hours to vote online for their favourite, and the winners were semi-final two acts Anne & Anique. Their song ‘Dromen’ now completes the full line up for the final this Saturday (27th).

The Dutch won JESC in 2009, and winner Ralf Mackenbach has gone onto big things since then. So hopes are high for a good result in Malta on 15 November.
