Eurovision Winner Conchita Wurst returned to Dublin last week to perform at the Dublin Pride Festival. We were so happy to meet up with Conchita who is a Dear Friend of Eurovision Ireland.
As always we had lots of fun with Conchita but in between the ‘fangirling moments’ we talked about backstage at Eurovision 2014, Eurovision 2015 and how important children are. How does a Eurovision winner have a personal life and what are the qualities that Conchita looks for in a partner? Let’s just say I am ‘3 for 3’ on those personal attributes.

We also launch our ‘Conchita To Meet Donatella Versace’ campaign – #ConchitaAndDonatellaVersace . Make sure to tweet our interview to Versace @Versace and let’s have these 2 powerful women meet!
Finally what does the future have in store for Ms Conchita Wurst? We guess if will include her ‘BFF Ruth Lorenzo’ from Spain.
Conchita was in Dublin to perform at The George Bar for the start of the recent Dublin Pride Celebrations. At the end of our interview we have Conchita’s live performance of ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’ from the night. You can see the audience reaction.
As always thank you to Conchita and her manager René for their time and laughs.
Finally a huge thanks for the Video Production by Mr Karl Hayden (khayden@iol.ie) with whose help this video would not have been possible.
Make sure to comment, share and like the video and check out our other videos on our YouTube Channel EurovisionIrelandTV and Also you have to follow Conchita Wurst on Facebook and Twitter.

Great interview, Garrett, funny, warm and informative as always. The crowd singing “Rise Like a Phoenix” sent chills up my spine. Fantastic!
Thank you so much Teka. Yes it was like being back at Eurovision again. A great moment
I tweeted Donatella for you :)
You have no idea how much I love you two together, these interviews always make me smile because they’re so genuine and funny…I just love them. Although I spend most of my time fangirling over Conchita, I have never watched Eurovision, but I would definitely watch it if you two were presenting it.
Ah Gemma – Thank you so much for tweeting and your kind comments. I and we really appreciate then :-)
