We all love Celine Dion but I have to tell the truth (my Mother raised well) but I have an undying affection for Scott Fitzgerald and his song “Go” that came second for the United Kingdom in Dublin in 1988 by 1 point! Yes ONE point!

The gentleman that is Mr Scott Fitzgerald spoke to our man John Stanton at The London Eurovision Concert last Sunday. Scott has listened to all the songs in this year’s contest and he discusses his favourites and Molly’s chances of winning for the UK.

While there he spoke of his love for Eurovision and his memories of the 1988 contest. This year he will be looking at the contest with his Grandchildren. He also opened up to us about his recent battle with cancer. We are so happy report that Scott is in very good health and may he stay that way too.

What a gentleman!
