Denmark – Today “Wonderful Copenhagen” released a video of what is now known as the “Eurovision Fan Mile”. This will be the hub of all fan and tourist activity in the city centre for the 2 weeks of Eurovision 2014.

The video takes you on the 2.2 km journey from Rådhuspladsen (where we showed you the erection of the Eurovision Countdown Clock) through Gammeltotv / Nytorv (where Eurovision Village will be situated) and then onto the Nyhavn district where we will board the ferries to take us to Refshaleøen which is now known as “Eurovision Island”
The entire street journey will be pedestrianized for the duration of Eurovision. This will be your Eurovision 2014 Playground.
Are you getting excited yet?

Looking good, although to be honest Strøget is already pedestrianised anyway! I am sure all the retailers along Europe’s longest shopping area are rubbing their hands in glee…
Happy memories of my two holidays in Copenhagen!
Ohh it looks so cool!! I love pedestrianized streets :D!
