The plan is to stage one International party along this pedestrian zone and celebrate the theme of the contest #JoinUs.

The Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, Frank Jensen said

“We look forward to welcoming the whole world to a large public party during Eurovision in Copenhagen. The participating three cities are cities which we already have a good relationship with, and they will contribute to making the Fan Mile an international party for both locals and visitors.”

Beijing and Hamburg will take over Højbro Plads square while Malmö will take over Kongens Nytorv square. Australia have also expressed an interest in joining the Eurovision Fan Mile.

It is not yet finalised what cultural events each of the three cities will include in the Eurovision Fan Mile.
