Two UK artists have submitted a music video for the Russian Eurovision Selection 2014.
The song is written by David Johnston and performed by Charlotte Kensignton. According to the artists “This music video features the Olympic Rings in rainbow colors and shows the history of human rights struggles, ending with the current homophobic events and scenes of LGBT persecution in Russia today, including torture of gay teenagers.”
They are calling for more artists to follow their lead and submit LGBT themed songs to the Russian National Selection for Eurovision 2014.

Will this spark a wave of similar songs to be submitted to Russia and many other European countries? Time will tell.
