Marc Roberts – Eurovision Runner-Up in 1997 to the United Kingdom’s Katrina and the Waves – is back with a new album. Marc is releasing his 5th studio album on Friday August 16th.
The album sees Marc returning to his love of American country music. This style of music suits his voice perfectly. You will remember that Marc came second at Eurovision 1997 with the country inspired song “Mysterious Woman”.
His new album “Now and Then” is a mixture of country classics from the likes of Restless Heart, Keith Urban, Clint Black, Rascal Flatts, Colin Raye, Billy Dean and 5 original songs from Marc. In total there are 18 songs on the album and here is a video giving you a taste of what to expect.
The album will also feature the duet and radio hit “All I Ever Need Is You” with Mary Duff which is a charming country mid temp song with a blue grass feel to it.
Marc’s new album “Now & Then” will be available on iTunes or you can pre-order it from Marc’s official website here
We wish Marc continued success with his new album. Just for a walk down memory lane here is Marc at Eurovision in 1997 with the charming “Mysterious Woman” which remains Ireland’s most successful entry at Eurovision since 1997.
