1. Right here we go…….just what you all have been waiting for.
   NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTT
   My opinions for tomorrow’s semi final are as follows.
   For me the competition doesn’t start until Croatia
   I find Austria + Estonia…..Nice but boring
   Slovenia to me is a mess
   Croatia to me is beautiful. Very well sung has a great melody. Deffo in the final. Prob won’t have mass appeal to do very well in the final but it’s very powerful .
   Then we have a glut of “favourites” in one poll or another.
   Denmark is one of the front runners and will sail into the final….Its middle of the road but will prob be in the mix-up on Sat night.
   Russia is very” disneyesque” but for some reason it works. Staging is simple but for this type of a song it works. Definite qualifier.
   Ukraine for me is not a particularly pleasant song to listen to but I am sure the staging is excellent and the vocals will be brilliant.It will qualify and be top ten in the final. Not for me though.
   The Netherlands…….I LOVE it…..a very unusual voice and simple presentation will make this stand out after the Ukrainian circus.
   Montenegro is off the wall and so not my bag but It some people like it. To me there is 3 songs rolled in to one.
   Lithuania is very Dépêche Mode like and could be a surprise qualifier.
   Belarus…don’t kill me but I really like the studio version and think this will qualify.
   Moldova is another well sung ballad but I think it’s one of the better ones. If they can qualify with the cone heads from 2011 they can qualify with this.
   Ireland…..Deffo qualifier…The best male pop song this year…sailing onto Saturday.Nuff said and YES I am biased.
   Cyprus….I am going out on a limb here but I think if this was being sung by either Russia , Azerbaijan or Ukraine it would be a contender, because its Cyprus it is being written of. For me on the more contemporary ballads and a favourite of mine. It will miss Greece voting in this semi though
   Belgium…Good looking lad song is meh !!!!Average and for me not a qualifier.
   Serbia…Again I am probably shooting myself in the foot but I think its car crash waiting to happen. I can’t find a tune / melody to the song and think it’s a mess. Will qualify because it’s Serbia but if this was being sung by another country I think it would be laughed at.
   I think it’s a weak year overall but this semi final is better than Semi final 2 where I can’t even find 10 songs to qualify.

   After that I am lost so am going to go for another ballad and swing for Estonia.

2. Thanks for the updates guys, nice work! really think regardless what Cyprus put in, they won’t be beaten by Montenegro, they’re sure to get a few votes from the balkans with Croatia,Slovenia, Serbia all in there, as well as the crazy loving eurovision fans who like spacesuits!

   Cyprus has no natural voting block on there side in this semi.

   Ireland, Denmark, Serbia, Ukraine, Croatia, Belgium, Russia, Moldova, Serbia, Cyprus…
   Netherlands is the worst song in the contest, a complete dirge, dark performance and just awful…Birds falling off the roofs, oh please..
