Bonnie Tyler – who will be representing the United Kingdom at Eurovision 2013 – spoke of her distaste of Talent Competitions like “The X-Factor” yet praised One Direction for their success and how they “have managed to stay grounded”.
It was only a few weeks ago that Bonnie was commenting that she was more well-known than the boy band in parts of Europe. It is fairly safe to say that Simon Cowell will not be calling Tyler to be a judge or a guest on the show as when asked on EntertainWise would she consider such a role “Never, absolutely never. I’d have to say it as it is and if somebody was terrible, I’d say why did your Mother let you come on this programme and make a fool of myself?” was the response.
In one sense Bonnie has already appeared on X-Factor courtesy of One Direction

Tyler is currently still promoting her Eurovision entry “Believe in Me” and her upcoming album “Rocks and Honey” across Europe, and will be appearing on the Graham Norton Show on BBC Television next week.
