Jedward Last Night With The Cast of American Pie The Reunion – Quiffs Optional
Eurovision Ireland had the pleasure of meeting Jedward recently and we managed to get the scoop on their Eurovision Plans, Hopes and Expectations.
We were the first to ask our High Haired Twins if this year we would see them with Flat Hair at Eurovision. Well it seems that we could be on the money here. Their recent video for “Waterline” that they shot in Tokyo – clearly shows a more mature Jedward complete with FLAT HAIR.Also last night in Dublin saw the Premier of the latest American Pie movie in the series “The Reunion” and yet again our Euro Boys are flat haired – Picture above. Is this a wise decision to make as they are known for their Quiffs? Well in my opinion YES.
A lot can change in a year and that is what has happened to our Lucan Twins. The basis of Global Domination have truly kicked in. No longer is their popularity confined to Ireland and the UK. Like a virile strain of Bird Flu they have spread across the world – appearing in Time Magazine, Performing for the President Of America, Having Chart success in Europe and Asia and not to mention countless TV shows across the Globe.
So will flat hair ruin their trade mark or will it bring a whole new group of fans? For me I see them in the Top 3 of this years Eurovision and of any act in this years Eurovision Song Contest, I am looking forward to seeing what they do in their 3 minutes on stage. If last year is anything to go by then this year will be even BIGGER than their hair and with rumours that they are adding 100 thousand Euro of their own money into the staging at Eurovision, I am expecting to see the guys in Water Tanks, Swimming with Sharks and a HUGE performance that will confound all critics once and for all. Sure they are better singers than Madonna who likes to mime at her concerts (allegedly) but you don’t see such a huge backlash against her. I see many a DOUZE points for Jedward in Baku.
So will flat hair mean a flat result? You tell us.

Good Points made there ken – However our point was that Madonna has been called on her vocal ability and her lack of singing live in her concerts. I urge you to look at the DVD of her most recent concert in Argentina. Almost all of it was mimed. That was the point I was making. In Jedward’s defense they have now sung “live” on a TV show seen by several hundred million people.
Nobody is questioning Madonna and her success. That is evident – but miming for the majority of a concert – well even Elton John had to call her out on that.
Well Jedward are the most successful X-Factor contestants ever as per revenue. That is down to their hard work and in fairness they never let the negative comments get to them.
Hope that explains my point that I was making.
