UK : Watch Bonnie Tyler receive her ESC Radio Awards for Eurovision 2013

Bonnie Tyler may have only come 19th at Eurovision 2013, but the listeners of ESC Radio crowned her Best Song and Best Female of Eurovision 2013. The ESC Radio Annual awards come after the Eurovision song contest and are voted on by the global audience that tune into ESC Radio.

Bonnie Tyler won the awards for Best Song and Best Female at this year’s contest. “Believe In Me”, written by Desmond Child, Lauren Christy and Christopher Braide, won the Best Song voting with 12.6% of the vote, and Bonnie Tyler also topped the vote for Best Female Artist (16.9%). This is the best result for a British artists since the awards began in 2006 where Blue and their song “I can” climbed the lofty heights of 6th place. Bonnie becomes a member of an exclusive group of Double Winners – Bonnie Tyler is the sixth double award winner, following Anna Vissi (Greece 2006), D’Nash (Spain 2007), Dima Bilan (Russia 2008), Alexander Rybak (Norway 2009), Eric Saade (Sweden 2011) and Loreen (Sweden 2012).

The team at ESC Radio met up with Bonnie Tyler Last weekend just before she performed a concert in Potsdam, Germany.

Bonnie still is upbeat following her Eurovision experience.
