Chiara is Malta’s most successful Eurovision singer (1998, 2005 and 2009) and we are getting the feeling that she may have her eyes set on Eurovision 2015 as she releases a new Summer remix of her song “Forget Forgetting Me” – that is set to be pushed by her new record label across the clubs of Europe this summer.
Here is Chiara performing the original song on Maltese TV over 8 months ago
However the song has had a major remix by top producers – and you get “Forget Forgetting Me – The Digital Hoarders Dub Anthem Remix”
This remix comes on the back of her great dance song “My Zarbun” which we love here at Eurovision Ireland.
The singer has been working with new producers from Iceland we believe, and they have certainly pushed her out of her comfort zone.
Under PBS rules for the last couple of years – an artist that has represented Malta at Eurovision cannot enter the Maltese National final for the next 5 years – so All Maltese Eurovision Representatives from 2009 to 2013 are excluded from entering the contest for 2014. So Chiara could be nicely placing herself for a return in 2015 and spending the next 18 months doing wheat she is doing – getting her name and new style of music back out there in Europe in advance of her eligibility for 2015.
The “Forget Forgetting me” remix is a cracking club track that should go down a treat in Europe this summer.
