
For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from Lidköping.
2019 – Heat Four
The fourth heat of 2019 took place at the Sparbanken Lidköping Arena, in Lidköping. John Lundvik took first place (86 points), with “Too Late for Love”, while Bishara took second place (84 points), with “On My Own”.
2023 – Heat Three
The third heat of 2023 took place at the Sparbanken Lidköping Arena, in Lidköping. Marcus & Martinus took first place (1,406,471 votes) and qualified after the first round of voting, with “Air”, while Paul Rey took second place (85 points) after the second round of voting, with “Royals”.
