
MRT, the North Macedonian national broadcaster, have outlined their plans, for the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest, in Burgas.
MRT have revealed that the North Macedonia delegation will be led by Jana Burčeska (ESC 2017) and Aleksandra Jovanovska – who has been part of the delegation for over a decade. Director of MRT, Zoran Ristoski, explained that changes will be made to the selection process and ‘non-transparent’ selections will be ending. He also stated that the EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, supporting MRT in promoting their culture and is expected to provide a more favourable package for their return to the Contest, in Burgas.
