🇪🇪 #ESC27: Estonia Confirm Participation In Burgas

ERR, the Swedish national broadcaster, have confirmed participation at the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest, in Burgas.

ERR have confirmed that Eesti Laul will be used, as is tradition and will be held on Saturday 30th January, at the Unibet Arena. Song submissions for Eesti Laul 2027 today and will remain open until Thursday 8th October. Following an assessment by a industry jury, 12 entries are expected to compete in Eesti Laul. The competing artists and composers will be revealed in a press conference during the autumn. Riin Vann, Estonian Head of Delegation, announced two new/updated rules:

  • Participants in the contest must be at least 18 year’s old.
  • The artist who wins the contest must be sure that they are ready to represent Estonia at the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest.

The format of Eesti Laul remains the same. The first round will see all twelve songs performed, where three will progress to the Superfinal following a combination of jury and public voting. The Superfinal will be decided solely by public voting.
