
For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from Skellefteå.
2005 – Heat Three
The third heat of 2005 took place at the Skellefteå Kraft Arena, in Skellefteå. Martin Stenmarck took first place (150,046 votes), with “Las Vegas”, while Jimmy Jansson took second place (115,330 votes), with “Vi kan gunga”.
2009 – Heat Two
The second heat of 2009 took place at the Skellefteå Kraft Arena, in Skellefteå. Måns Zelmerlöw gained 107,523 votes, with “Hope & Glory”, while H.E.A.T gained 89,631 votes with “1000 Miles” after the round two duels.
