San Marino RTV, the Sammarinese national broadcaster, have revealed when the 2027 San Marino Song Contest will take place – their national selection for the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest.

San Marino RTV have revealed that the 2027 San Marino Song Contest will take place on Saturday 6th March. The Semi Finals are currently scheduled for Wednesday 3rd & Thursday 4th March. Forty acts will compete for ten places in the Final, with five acts qualifying from each Semi-Final. In the Final, up to 20 acts will compete to represent San Marino, with 10 acts from the Semi Finals and up to 10 acts invited directly by San Marino RTV.

The preliminary round, Dreaming San Marino Song Contest, opened the submission window today. The applicants will take part in a casting round where a jury will review the applicants and select 240 or more acts to progress through to the Stage & Live Academy phase. The Stage & Live Academy phase will take place across eight shows, across four sessions. From each of the shows, five acts will be selected to go through the San Marino Song Contest Semi-Finals.
