For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from Gothenburg.

2025 – Heat Two

The second heat of 2025 took place at the Scandinavium, in Gothenburg. Erik Segerstedt took first place (86 points) and qualified after the first round of voting, with “Show Me What Love Is”, while Klara Hammarström took second place (2,581,942 votes) after the second round of voting, with “On and On and On”.

2026 – Heat Two

The second heat of 2026 took place at the Scandinavium, in Gothenburg. Felicia took first place (1,788,115 votes) and qualified after the first round of voting, with “My System”, while Brandsta City Släckers took second place (94 points) after the second round of voting, with “Rakt in i elden”.
