Rai, the Italian national broadcaster, have announced that the winner of Sanremo Giovani, will compete in the main Sanremo 2027 – their national selection for the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest.

The winner of Sanremo Giovani, which is been held in December, will once again be incorporated back into the Campioni category – the main Festival di Sanremo 2027. Festival di Sanremo 2027 will take place between Tuesday 16th and Saturday 20th February, with the Italian representative for the Eurovision Song Contest been chosen on the fourth night – Friday 19th February.
