
For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from Växjö.
2017 – Heat Three
The third heat of 2017 took place at the VIDA Arena, in Växjö. Robin Bengtsson took first place (1,031,479 votes), with “I Can’t Go On”, while Owe Thörnqvist took second place (961,526 votes), with “Boogieman Blues”.
2024 – Heat Three
The third heat of 2024 took place at the VIDA Arena, in Växjö. Jacqline took first place (1,343,304 votes) and qualified after the first round of voting, with “Effortless”, while Cazzi Opeia took second place (2,186,950 votes) after the second round of voting, with “Give My Heart a Break”.
