The Bulgarian Government up set up a working group to assist in the preparations for the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest.
Rumen Radev, the Bulgarian Prime Minister, announced the set up of the working group, with the Deputy Prime Minister, Ivo Hristov, heading it up. Rumen Radev, had the following to say:
“This week is already passing under the sign of the spectacular Bulgarian success of Eurovision – a success that goes far beyond the dimensions of musical art. And it is up to us to make the most of it.
For us in the government, there is no time for emotions, because the preparation in terms of volume, is huge as an organisation. It requires not only financial resources, but also an awful lot of coordination. That is why we are creating an interdepartmental working group chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ivo Hristov, which will include the relevant ministries.”
