HRT, the Croatian national broadcaster, will broadcast a 70th Anniversary documentary, ahead of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.
HRT will broadcast ‘Eurosong 70: Naši ljudi, naše pjesme’ on Monday 27th April & Wednesday 6th May, on HRT 1. The show will focus on Croatian artists who have taken to the stage from those who performed for Yugoslavia, to post-independence performers. Nensi Profaca, Scriptwriter & Director of ‘Eurosong 70: Naši ljudi, naše pjesme’, had the following to say:
“It is incredible how much Eurovision has changed since those times until today. From a music festival, it has become a television spectacle of top production. And the conversations with our Eurovision representatives and witnesses of some past times, as well as the “diving” into the archival pearls that one can find in the HRT archive, gave me a new perspective on the Eurovision Song Contest. It is wonderful to see what the years do and how this European ‘music lady’ ages with dignity.”
