
SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, have confirmed their commentator, ahead of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.
Edward af Sillén will be returning to the commentary booth once again for his fifteenth Contest – the first been in 2009. Edward missed 2013 & 2016, due to taking on the roles of screenwriter and director. For the first time, he will not be joined by a guest commentator. Edward had the following to say:
“To guide viewers through the year’s most fun music competition for the fifteenth time is a great honour and a huge joy. I’m considering this now that on Felicia’s behalf, commenting on the show wearing a lace face mask. Here we go!”
