Back in January, the EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, CLARIFIED the number of countries that would be allowed to take part in the 2024 Eurovision Young Musicians, in Bodø – however this seems to have changed.

SRF, the Swiss German-language national broadcaster, has revealed an increased number of participating nations through a press release. SRF, had the following to say:

“SRF is one of the twelve European television channels participating in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest for Young Musicians.”

At present only ten participating countries have announced their intentions to take part. They are Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Czechia, France, Germany, Norway (host country), Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland.
